Do The “Words”

Motivation. Discussion. “Engagement.”

Never have we had more interaction with our words. And their words.

Words matter. Mindfully-chosen words can be the precursor to great actions and minor achievements. Whether purposeful, or contributive, or simply to begin.

The problem is when we begin to believe the utterance of words IS our action.

We are surrounded by a stupor of words. This all-you-can-consume buffet of tips, tricks, and opinions is thoughtfully designed to make it easier than ever to stay belly-up to the table hanging on every word.

The wizards of these entrees skillfully tap us to continue our endless consumption. Which we adhere to with delight. And fury.

Take a look outside the window to what seems like a desolate environment. This, is the uninviting space where *doing the words* waits.

It is a place with no tables, no chairs, where *doing the words* welcomes the sometimes solitary guest. Companionship is rarely on the menu.

Doing the words has one resounding attribute on its side that is worthy of our consideration.

It has no appetite for the consumption of words.

With gratitude,

Joe
