It’s OK To Take A Break

To take a break from work is not a difficult consideration. If your work is a grind, the opportunity to trade time for something more pleasurable can be a relatively easy choice.

We intuitively know the benefits of a break. We rest, recharge, and reboot. The contrast that such a break offers yields fresh perspective and motivation.

But what about an endeavor that you enjoy? Or something at which you are talented with improvement that is exciting?

In such dynamics, there is a little more friction between your work and the break.

I have healthy continuity in a variety of my pursuits. But, I’m not always the best self-judge of when a break might be in order.

Today feels like a good day though.

Whether it’s just for today’s post or perhaps for a longer stretch, today is simply a Sunday Morning…

With gratitude,

Joe
