Love the analogy to finance and money management — thank you, Lorenzo.

Just my two cents — I think people can go an entire lifetime going far out their way to avoid the rocks. And honestly, if this is practiced enough, one can become very good at this. I believe many do.

Perhaps the price to pay here is to get the final finish line and realize there was so much more juice to squeeze out of the orange. I have never figured out how to squeeze the orange without confronting my rocks.

Canoes are a good vehicle. (I am sorry they have to be used the way they are in Houston right now but grateful that they are among the vehicles saving lives right now.)
