Thank you, Benjamin — I’m so grateful to have made your acquaintance here. and read your work this past year.

This post is actually three outstanding posts. Each one could be a month of Daily Practice, seeing how the advice works, and ultimately applies to your life.

About loads, I like the story but wonder about the application to our personal growth. For a lot of different reasons, people choose to put themselves under heavy loads, that are not always positive nor easy to unload. Think about negative relationships, severe debt, unreasonable standards, etc.

But, I sill like the load analogy. The question I would ask is, “How do you work with lots of different loads that you know you can and will unload quickly?”

THEN, you get a much better idea how your vehicle works, and even why it works, as opposed to what are the loads you haul around.
