Thank you for the kind words and comment, Betty Lee Gross. The type of boats with which we were dodging traffic on the Clara Barton in the l980s and early 1990’s were too long to fit inside of cars. I’m glad to own at least one whitewater playboat that fits inside of our car today though.

But, the racing boats of today are lighter and bit shorter — here’s a video we did last week at the same venue in which I write about in the post only MUCH warmer on this particular January day. The video features our 15 year-old daughter, Sau, an active athlete in the sport, returning to the kayak for the first time in three months following shoulder surgery.
