Thank you Jon — I enjoyed your post and am always interested in people’s self-investment routines.

For me, I would get a little discouraged looking at lists at all these things I do not have today or things I haven’t done today. Instead, I try focus on attributes, skills, and strategies I can execute right now — things I don’t have to wait for one day.

With these attributes, I can move, create, write, be grateful, or just be still. Then, just repeat these small steps every day.

This is my attempt to be as present as I can with the strengths (and weaknesses) I have right now. It shifts my focus from the finish line to the start line, over and over again, where with a little luck, I will get to line up on again tomorrow.

With that, I’m glad that I read your posts and am grateful for your contributions here.
