Thank you Josh — I’m married to a professional musician and have always enjoyed the commonality I discovered when speaking process-based artists. I find the same thing to be true in the business world.

I understand the role of metrics in sport, but I wish I had let go them more often. throughout my own athletic career. As in every day.

Obsessing about what I didn’t yet have never helped activate the best attributes I had to bring to that moment. So today, and every day, as I build this next chapter of my life, I try to do a better job of letting go every day and working with the good attributes I have right now.

It’s an outlook I not only practice myself but share with aspiring Olympians, artists, and business leaders.
