Thanks for writing this, Stefano. It seems like meditation had some positive effects on you. Taking a page out of James Altucher’s book, “Choose Yourself,” and Claudia A. Altucher’s book, “Become An Idea Machine,” you can write 10 ideas every day and still practice mindfulness too (through meditation or physical activities such as walking, yoga, paddling, etc.) Meditation and Idea-listing, as well as a few other exercises, are part of my daily practice. I experience the benefits of meditation that you wrote about but am generating (and taking action on) ideas that excite me every day.
