The Prefix Of Intention

Imagine an event or action that did not work out as intended. Perhaps the prefix, “mis,” supports the nature of what transpired. The result could have been a mishap or a mistake.

In an effort to correct, the prefix, “re,” is useful. You can redo, reinvent, or reshape.

“Re” attempts to fix the “mis.”

But, what if the story does not end here?

Continuous iterations of “re” without consideration and purpose breed fatigue and frustration.

Enter the prefix, “un.” Undo. Unplug. Unwind.

Un-anything.

If you are going to set an intention, start with “un.”

With gratitude,
